13. Maintenance
Before commencing maintenance, stop the motor.
13.1 Electrical components
The generators are constructed to be maintenance-free. All that needs to be done is to remove the layer of dust which settles on the
casing from time to time, so that the air-cooling function of the cooling vanes is not impaired.
13.2 Engine
The mixture regulating screw and speed regulator are sealed with red sealing paint. It is prohibited to interfere in these areas, as this
may cause damage to both the generator and the consumer unit.
NOTE
:
(1): Servie more frequently when used in dusty areas.
(2): These items should be serviced by an authorized dealer, unless the owner has
the prober tools and is mechanically proficient. See the Shop Manual.
