Air vents
Adjusting the front air vents
& WARNING Risk of burns and frostbite
due to being too close to the air vents
Very hot or very cold air can flow from the air
vents.
#
Make sure that all vehicle occupants
always maintain a sufficient distance
from the air vents.
#
If necessary, direct the airflow to
another area of the vehicle interior.
To guarantee the flow of fresh air through the air
vents into the vehicle interior, comply with the
following:

Always keep the vents and vent grilles in the
vehicle interior free.

Keep the air inlet free of residue build-up
(

page 330).

To open the center and side air vents:
press button 1 .
The three indicator lamps on the button will
light up. The air vents will be opened com‐
pletely.
#
To close the center and side air vents:
press button 1 again.
The three indicator lamps on the button will
go out one by one. The air vents will be
closed completely.
#
To adjust the airflow direction of the side
air vents: hold outer side air vent 2 in the
center and move it up or down or to the left
or right.

To adjust the airflow direction of the cen‐
ter air vent: hold air vent 3 in the center
and move it up or down or to the left or right.
