When the interior motion sensor is activated, a
visual and audible alarm is triggered if move‐
ment is detected in the vehicle interior.
The interior motion sensor is activated automati‐
cally after approximately ten seconds:

After locking the vehicle with the SmartKey

After locking the vehicle using KEYLESS-GO
The interior motion sensor is only activated
when the following components are closed:

Doors
R
Trunk lid
The interior motion sensor is automatically deac‐
tivated:

After pressing the Ü or H button on

When a side window is open

The Interior motion sensor is activated again in
the following cases:

The vehicle is unlocked again.
