Opening the emergency exit in the roof

Connect a suitable jump lead to bat-
tery charging socket (2).
Note:
Specifications: Nato socket
Run the engine of the donor vehicle
at an elevated idling speed.
Start the engine of the bus to be
jump-started in the normal way and
let it run at idling speed.
Switch off the engine of the donor
vehicle.
Disconnect the jump leads.
Note:
To prevent voltage peaks, switch on the
more powerful consumers of the jump-
started bus, such as the lighting, heated
windows or ventilation, before you discon-
nect the jump leads.

Pull the cover down using handle (1).
