2.6 - TRANSPORT SAFETY
The machine coupled to the tractor must not be transported on public roads and
highways. This practice should be limited within properties and rural areas.
Consult the transit agency about the rules and laws in force in your area as to whether
or not to transport the machine with the tractor on certain stretches of road.
Do not exceed a safe transport speed. Reduce speed and exercise caution on rough
terrain and cornering.
Always drive the tractor at speeds that are compatible with terrain or road conditions
and tractor size.
Never allow people to stand on any part of the machine during transportation. Never use
the machine to transport people or animals.
When transporting the machine, be especially careful with the mains.
Do not transport the machine with the discharge spout raised. Risk of shock from contact
with electrical wiring. Keep away from high voltage airlines. Risk of electrocution (death caused
by electrical energy).
Never drink and drive the tractor.
Avoid sudden maneuvers especially in rough locations. When towing a load heavier
than the tractor, do not exceed 16 km / hour.
Double your attention when driving with the machine engaged on sloping ground. If
you notice any imbalance, reduce the acceleration.
When descending keep the tractor always engaged.
Before getting off the tractor or performing any maintenance, apply the parking brake
(if present), turn off the engine, and remove the ignition key.
Mount sufficient counterweights so that the front tires of the tractor maintain sufficient
contact with the ground.
The tractor must always be maneuverable.
