4.3 - Intended Use
This machine has been designed and built to harvest and chop various forage crops such as corn,
sorghum, sugarcane, etc., regardless of planting line and harvest direction, in conventional planting,
producing forage for silage and daily handling of animals.
4.4 - REQUIRED TRACTOR
It operates coupled to the tractor's three-point hydraulic lift system (category III), independent
TDP with rated speed of 540/1000 rpm, and four-valve auxiliary hydraulic. Required Tractor
Power: 180 to 250 hp.
4.5 - OPERATION
HARVEST
Four reels rollers, equipped with appropriate speed rotating cutting knives that simultaneously
cut and collect the plants.
FEEDING
:
Two feeder platforms composed of four rollers each, one of them movable, direct the harvested
material to the respective chopper rotors.
PICING:
Two knife rotors, in conjunction with the counterfives, mince and launch the product through
the spout.
DISCHARGE
A swivel spout, equipped with a jet driver, unloads the shredded product into any part of the
forage wagon, trailer or truck moving alongside the machine.
NOTE:
The reels and pickup rollers have simultaneous rotation adjustment, which allows changing the
feed speed and, consequently, the cut size of the plant.
4.6 - OPTIONALS
Inoculant Applicator.
ATTENTION:
FOR WORKING ON THE SUGAR CANE HARVEST, LOW TRACK TRACTOR IS
RECOMMENDED.
