a) When replacing the knives remove the attachment points of the covers (12) to the rotor case
assembly by means of the screws (13).
b) Using a winch or similar, remove the assembly (cap, swivel tube and outlet spout) to the floor.
c) Remove screws (14/15) remove knives (16) and fans (17).
d) Clean the rotor disc using manual sandpaper.
e) Mount knives and fans; then adjust the counter knife on the knives leaving the looseness 1.5 to 2.0
millimeters.

IMPORTANT:
All knives should be the same weight after sharpening. Use a scale to make the
conference. Knives with different weights unbalance the rotor and damage the equipment.
Replace any damaged screws, nuts and washers, and always use 8.8 steel screws and
nuts and heavy pressure washers. Do not use screws of different diameters and lengths,
this will cause rotor imbalance.
Securely tighten all knives and counter knife screws (14 and 15).Tightening should be
given with 175 Nm (newton meter) or 130 Lbf foot (pound force foot) torque for knives
screws (14 and 15) and 130 Nm (Newton meter) or 95 lbf foot (pound force foot) ) of torque
for the counter knife screws.
