3.3.1 - CARE AND MAINTENANCE
3.3 - GENERAL SAFETY RULES
The cause of many damages and accidents is due to errors of maintenance, such as:
- Lack of oil, grease and antifreeze,
- Lack of cleaning,
- Emergency Stop, functioning stop not checked daily,
- Worm in the hydraulic system (damage to the hoses, tightening loose, ecc.).

-Carry out accurately the work of maintenance even for ones own safety.
-Never delay work of repairs.
-Charge the work of repairs only to personnel who are specialized or authorized.
Observe always the following norms of safety, even when one has full mastery of all the elements
of manoeuvre:
- Before initiating work check that all the movements, the stop and the measures of protection
function perfectly.
- Keep hands, feet, clothing, jewerly and long hair away from any moving parts, to prevent them
from getting caught.
- Never leave a running machine unattended. Alwaysturn off the blades, stop engine and remove
the key.
- Slope are major factor related to loss of control and trip-over accidents, which can result in se-
vere injury or death. Operation on all slopes requires extra caution.

- ATTENTION: If you hit and object or abnormal vibration occurs, stop the machine and inspect it.
Make repairs before you operate.
- If you strike a foreign object, stop and inspect the machine. Repair, if necessary, before restar-
ting.
- When operate, especially in windy conditions, must carefully select your location so that it is not
exposed to exhaust gases, dust or grass clippings.
- Not operating the machine if it is hide (hill, biulding, tall grass etc...).
