7.2 - TOWING OF THE MACHINE
During operation or transport, situations may arise
when it may be necessary to tow the machine. The
following procedures should be performed as in-
structed to reduce the possibility of damage to the
drive motor, tracks or brake systems, and provide
safe towing of the machine.
Use only properly rated and inspected towing or
lifting straps, hooks and attachments to
tow or lift the machine. Straps and lifting connec-
tions should be rated at a minimum of 15 ton and
be free from defects. Failure to use a suitably
rated towing or lifting strap, or using a tow or lift
strap which is damaged or defective may result
in severe damage and could result in injury to
operators or bystanders.
During the tow, the regulator should never
exceed 90 rpm.

DANGER :
When the machine is towed, use a metallic cable with a resistance adequate to
the weight of the machine being towed.

1 - Unscrew the cap (a)
2 - Screw a M6x1 screw (b)
3 - With the aid of the screw pull the pin until it stops.
4 - Repeat the procedure on the other gear.
At this point both the units are unlocked and its possi-
ble to tow the machine.
