Warning
-If you do not have a torque wrench at hand, please go
to your Shineray dealer to have the tightening torque
corrected as soon as possible. A loose wheel spindle
may lead to an unstable performance of your
motorcycle.
- Please tighten the collar nut with the required torque.
A loose wheel spindle may lead to an unstable

Note:
The maximum adjusting range of the chain adjusters (32mm)
allows you to use different secondary ratios in combination
with the same chain length. The chain adjuster can be
corrected for 30mm both forward and backward.
Chain maintenance
For a long service life of the chain, good maintenance is
very important. Chains without X-rings usually are cleaned
by using fireproof solvent and then treated with hot grease
or chain spray
。
The cleaning work of the X-ring chains is very simple, the
best way is to use water, but never use brushes or cleaning
liquids. After the chain dry up, please spray anti-rust oil to
prevent rust.
Warning
No lubrication should be applied to rear wheel and
brake disc, or the road adherence and the rear wheel
braking effects would be largely reduced and the
motorcycle could easily lose control.
Caution:
When mounting the chain masterlink clip, the closed
side of the masterlink clip must point in running
direction. Meanwhile, check sprockets and chain
guides to make sure there’s no wear-out, if there is,
please replace it.
Wear-out of the chain
To check the wear-out of the chain, please follow the
instructions below:
Shift the gear into neutral position and pull the upper
chain strand with approx. 10-15 kgs upwards. Now you
can measure a space of 18 chain reels at the lower chain
strand. The chain should be replaced at the length of
272mm as measured. Chains are not always worn out
evenly, therefore repeat measuring the length of chains at
different places on the chain.
Note
：
If you have replaced with a new chain, the sprocket
should also be replaced. New chains would be worn out
faster if assembled on a used sprocket.
Chain adjustment
Check the status of wear-out, tightness and lubrication
of the driving chain.

Jack up the motorcycle, press the
chain upward by hand to check whether or not the
verticality is between the regulated range.:10-20mm.
⑵
When adjusting, please loosen the rear wheel axle
lock-nut, and correct the adjusting nut to make the
tightness in the regulated range.
⑶
Please add a small amount of lubrication oil onto
the chain.
