Adjustment of the free travel at the hand brake lever

The  free  travel  at  hand  brake  lever  may  be  readjusted  by

correcting the adjusting bolt

1

. The position of the point

of pressure can be adjusted in this way to fit any hand sizes.

When  press  the  hand  brake  lever  forward,  please  leave  3

mm space for free trave. If necessary, screw the bolt

1

tight.

Caution:

The free travel at the hand brake lever is at least be 3

mm  .  Only  then  may  the  piston  in  the  hand  brake

cylinder  be  moved.  If  this  free  travel  is  not  effected,

pressure will accumulate in the braking system, and the

front  brake  might  be  failed  to  function  because  of

overheat.

Brake pads

The front and rear brakes are fitted with bushes, and these

bushes  provide  an  optimal  combining  space,  enhance  the

performance of braking and extend the length of service life.

The type of these bushes is stated on the back of the brake

pads and also recorded in the homologation papers.

Other brake pads are applicable for racing games.

Brake discs

-Brake  discs  worn  out  greater  than  0.4mm  would

constitute  a  safty  problem.  Please  have  the  brake  discs

replaced immediately  as soon as they  reach the limit of

acceptable wear-out.

-The  repair  service  of  the  braking  system  should  be

performed by Shineray dealers.

Brake fluid reservoirs

The  brake  fluid  reservoirs  of  front  and  rear  brake  is

designed in such a way that even if the brake pad are worn

out, the brake fluid will not be fully filled in the reservoirs.

If the brake fluid level drops below the minimum level,

the  braking  system  may  have  a  leak  or  the  brake  pads

would  be  completely  worn  out.  In  this  case,  please  ask

your authorized Shineray dealers for help.

Brake fluid:

We  recommend  you  to  use  the  brake  fluid  which  is

adopted by Shineray for its braking system.

  Warning

Please have  the  brake  fluid  renewed  once  a  year.  If
