you wash your motorcycle often, please renew the
brake fluid more frequent than usual. Brake fluid
trends to absorb water, therefore, the older brake fluid
may evaporate at low temperatures, which would
cause the failure of the braking system.
Examination of brake fluid level, Fr. brake
The brake fluid reservoir is linked with the hand brake
pump at the hand bar and reservoir is provided with an
inspection mirror

. With the reservoir in a horizontal
position, the brake fluid level should not drop below the
middle of the glass.
Warning
If the brake fluid level drops below the minimum level,
probably it indicates that the braking system has a leak
or the brake pads are completely worn out. In this case,
please consult your authorized Shineray dealer.
Refilling the front brake fluid reservoir

.Place the hand brake pump in a horizontal
position and fill the brake fluid reservoir to 5 mm. tighten
the bolts, and rinse off spilled or overflowing brake fluid
with water.
Warning
- Never use DOT5 brake fluid.
- Store the brake fluid out the reach of kids
-Brake fluid can cause skin irritation. Please avoid
any contact with skin and eyes. If you get the brake
fluid in your eyes by accident, rinse with water and
go to doctor immediately
Caution:

Use only clean brake fluid taken from a tightly
sealed container.
·
Please avoid the brake fluid splashing onto the
stickers, paint and rubber components.
Examination of front brake pad
The brake pads can be examined from below. The linings
must be at least 1mm thick
Warning
Linings should not be thinner than 1mm at the most
worn out part of the pads. Otherwise it could cause
failure of braking. For your own safety conern, please
have your brake pad replaced immediately if
necessary.
Caution:
If the replacement of the brake pads is performed too
late, partly or entirely causing the wear-out of the
lining, the steel components of the brake pad will rub
with the brake discs. Consequently, the braking
performance would be influenced and it will damage
the discs.

When replacing the brake pads, please replace with
full set
·
Do not disassemble the soft pipe when replacing
