Charging Light

This light comes on when the ignition
switch is turned to the “ON” position or the
engine switch is pressed to change the
ignition mode to “ON”, and goes out when
the engine is started. If the light comes on
while the engine is running this indicates
some malfunction with the battery charging
system.
The charging system should be inspected
immediately by your authorised Maruti
Suzuki workshop.

High Engine Coolant Temperature

When the ignition switch is turned to the
“ON” position or the engine switch is
pressed to change the ignition mode to
“ON”, this light comes on briefly so you can
check that the light is working. If this light
blinks while driving, it means the engine is
running hot. Avoid driving conditions that
may lead to actual overheating. If the light
stays on without blinking, then the engine
is overheating. Follow the instructions in
the “If the Engine Overheats” of “EMER-
GENCY SERVICE” section.

Immobilizer System Light

When the ignition switch is turned to the
“ON” position or the engine switch is
pressed to change the ignition mode to
“ON”, the light comes on briefly so you can
check that the light is working. If this light
stays on or blinks, there is a problem with
the system and the vehicle may not start.

rised workshop.
