5.6. Einstellung Exzenterhebel der Beinplatten

An den Beinplatten genügt gelegentliches Überprüfen der Vorspannung und eventuell
ein Nachstellen der Klemm-Mechanismen für Abklappen und Ausschwenken der Beinplatten.

Nachstellen des Klemm-Mechanismus (12)

Kontermutter (1) lösen. Mit Schraube (2) Klemmung so einstellen, daß bei geöffnetem
Exzenterhebel beim Auschwenken spürbarer Widerstand vorhanden ist.
Kontermutter anziehen.

Nachstellen des Klemm-Mechanismus (13)

Stopfen (3) an der Unterseite des Tragholms entfernen.
Schrauben (4) lösen und Polsterplatte (6) abnehmen.
Konterschraube (7) lockern.
Mit Schraube (8) Klemmung so einstellen, daß bei geöffnetem Exzenterhebel beim Abklappen
spürbarer Widerstand vorhanden ist.

Hinweis:

Die Klemmung bei geschlossenem Exzenterhebel kann erhöht werden,
Falls hinter den Exzenterbolzen (9) dünne Ausgleichsscheiben montiert werden.
Dazu Gewindestift (10) herausschrauben, Exzenterbolzen (9) herausziehen und
je nach Bedarf Ausgleichsscheiben (11) unterlegen.

Setting the eccentric lever at the leg plates

At the leg plates it will be sufficient to check the pre-load value occasionally and if necessary
to adjust the clamping mechanisms used when swinging the leg plates outward or downward.

Resetting the clamping mechanism (12)

Loosen the lock nut (1). Set the screw (2) to adjust the clamping action so that with the eccentric
lever released there is perceptible resistance when the leg plate is swung outward.
Re-tighten the lock nut.

Resetting the clamping mechanism (13)

Remove the plug (3) at the bottom of the support rail.
Remove the screws (4) and detach the padding (6).
Loosen the lock nut (7).
Set the screws (8) to adjust the clamping action so that with the eccentric lever released
there is perceptible resistance when lowering the leg plate.

Note:

The clamping action of the eccentric lever when engaged can be increased
by inserting thin shims behind the eccentric pin (9).
To do so, unscrew the grub screw (10), remove the eccentric pin (9)
and insert the number of shims (11) required.
