4. Troubleshooting - what to do, if ..
For troubleshooting, the sequence of parts to be checked must always be observed to allow safe and well-
aimed detection of the fault.
Arbitrary checking or replacement of components will certainly not be helpful.
Also, the most "popular" replacement of microchips on the boards is not a very professional way
to resolve the problem!
How to proceed:
check e.g. transformer; battery charger - charging voltage; battery capacity;
motor current consumption; voltage, pump working pressure
or
hand control unit; receiver board - test outputs; spiral cable; motor control circuit.
4.1 Motor starts without any of the control unit buttons being pressed
Detach the control unit. There is, probably, a permanent contact in the touch pad key panel.
Connect another control unit.
If the motor still starts without having pressed a button, check the battery charger (relay RS1). If
necessary, replace with new battery charger.
If the problem persists, check the lead connection from the battery charger to the control unit.
4.2 Motor runs but no functions are executed although the function button is pressed at
the control unit
Test the function button on the control unit -> switching stroke of the button is too long (adhesive foil on
the button head); see electrical test of control unit/receiver board.
If the problem cannot be solved, check the wiring from the column head to the hydraulic tank
(broken cable).
Check the valve wiring in the hydraulic tank. Test the drive of the solenoid valve.
