Lowering Header
IMPORTANT:
These instructions are only for tipping over the unit. Lifting should only be done using a forklift and the
shipping stand.

1.
Attach a spreader bar (A) to forklift or equivalent.
Spreader bar should have a minimum working load of
2270 kg (5000 lb.).
2.
Attach the spreader bar chains (B) to the lifting lug (C)
on each end of the header as shown. Do not attach
chains to, or through, hold-down components.
IMPORTANT:
Damage to header resulting from lowering the unit with
alternative methods will not be covered by warranty.

If ground is soft, place two wooden blocks (2 x 4 in.) on
ground in front of frame at locations shown so that
header will rest on blocks after it is lowered.

Slowly back up forklift while lowering the front of pick-up
header to the ground.

Remove chains (A) from header lugs.
