auger drive chain tension needs adjusting. For

0.31 in.), no
adjustment is required.

If difference (B) is greater than 8 mm (0.31 in.), the
auger drive chain tension needs adjusting. For

Adjusting Auger Drive Chain Tension
The auger is chain-driven by the adapter drive system sprocket attached to the side of the auger.
DANGER
To prevent bodily injury or death from the unexpected start-up of the machine, always stop the engine and remove the
key from the ignition before leaving the operator

s seat for any reason.
NOTE:
Check the auger tension before making any adjustments. For instructions, refer to
6.7.2 Checking Auger Drive Chain

Detach the header from the combine. For instructions, refer to
5 Header Attachment/Detachment, page 289

Shut down the engine, and remove the key from the ignition.
