Chapter 5:
Performing Predelivery Checks
WARNING
To avoid bodily injury or death from unexpected startup of machine, always stop engine and remove key from ignition
before leaving operator

IMPORTANT:
To avoid machine damage, check that no shipping dunnage has fallen down between auger and pans.

Perform final checks and adjustments as listed on the Predelivery Checklist (yellow sheet attached to back of this
instruction

) to ensure the machine is field-ready. Refer to the following pages for
detailed instructions as indicated on the checklist.

The completed checklist should be retained either by the Operator or the Dealer.

Checking Drive Belts and Chains

Open shield on header right side.

Check knife drive timing belt (A). It should deflect 14 mm
(0.55 in.) when a load of 22
