JD controller has a feature that calibrates the T/C inputs to compensate for
cold junction temperature at the T/C connection terminal. To enable the
cold junction calibration feature, use the INC and DEC keys to toggle
between YES and NO. The default setting is NO. (Yes = Enabled, NO =
Disabled)
3a) Press [ENTER]
JD controller has a feature to discourage easy access to operating
parameters. This feature is intended to discourage unauthorized editing of
alarm set points and other system operating variables and not limit or
lockout authorized personnel. When enabled, this feature disallows any
changes to set point values from the key pad. If custom set point values are
desired, they must be established prior to enabling this feature. Use the INC
and DEC keys to toggle between YES and NO. The default setting is YES.
(Yes = Changes allowed, NO = Changes disallowed)
4a) Press [ENTER]
The units of measure can be set to either Imperial (US) or Metric. Use the
INC and DEC keys to toggle between US and Metric units of measure.
Unless specified, the default setting is US.
5a) Press [ENTER]
This control specifies whether customer established alarm set points and
control settings are saved to memory or return to the factory default settings
if power is lost to the controller. Use the INC and DEC keys to toggle
between Yes and No.. (Yes = Restore defaults, NO = Do not restore
defaults). The default setting is YES.
6a) Press [ENTER]
This control specifies the serial port function. Use the INC and DEC keys to
toggle between Modbus and Terminal. The default setting is Terminal.
6b) Press [ENTER]
This control specifies the serial port protocol. Use the INC and DEC keys to
toggle between RS422 and RS485. The default setting is RS422.
