LOW OIL LEVEL
Oil Level within
mist generating
reservoir is
below low alarm
point.
1. Confirm low oil level through sight glass. The Low oil level alarm is initiated if oil
level in mist tank is less than 1” from Low mark on sight glass.
2. Check the Oil Supply shut off valve. Ensure the valve is in the full open position.
3. Check the bulk oil supply reservoir and ensure that it has not been depleted. Refill
the bulk oil reservoir if additional oil supply is needed.
4. Ensure that the bulk oil supply is providing a continuous pressurized supply of oil
to the oil supply connection.
5. Check Oil Filter element F-2. A dirty oil filter will not permit oil to pass through.
Replace if necessary. CFH RS part number 77500489.
6. Reset the console by turning main power OFF then ON. Confirm operation of the
solenoid operated oil valve. As the solenoid is energized you will hear a clicking
sound. If solenoid does not energize, verify the operation of the oil level control
switch in the main misting reservoir. As oil level falls, the switch energizes the
solenoid. As oil level rises, the switch should de-energize the solenoid valve.
Check to ensure that 24 VDC power is applied to the solenoid terminals. If the
solenoid does not energize it should be replaced. CFH RS part number 77780131.
7. If repair is not possible, switch mist generation to Auxiliary. See procedure located
on interior of
JD
cabinet door.
HIGH OIL
LEVEL
Oil Level within
mist generating
reservoir is
above the high
alarm point.
1. The oil reservoir has been overfilled. Visually confirm the reservoir level indicated
by the oil level sight gauge. Normal operating level is approximately mid level in
the reservoir.
2. Drain any excess oil through Bulk Oil Reservoir Drain Valve.
3. Check the bulk fill oil solenoid valve for proper operation. Ensure that the valve is
not stuck in the open position. Check for trash in the valve seat or cut seat that
could keep the valve from sealing off the oil supply. Replace if needed.
4. To read the operating level in the bulk oil reservoir press the
Oil Level
key.
Visually compare
JD
oil level reading to oil level in sight glass.
If
JD
bulk oil level reading is significantly higher than level in bulk oil sight glass,
replace Oil Level Transmitter LT-1. CFH RS part number 77780141.
