Software Update
Phone Software Update
This feature allows you to update the
firmware of your phone to the latest version
conveniently from the internet without the
need to visit a service center.

As the mobile phone firmware update
requires the user’s full attention for the
duration of the update process, please
make sure to check all instructions and
notes that appear at each step before
proceeding. Please note that removing the
USB cable or battery during the upgrade
may seriously damage your mobile phone.
LG Mobile Phone Software
update via Over-the-Air (OTA)
This feature allows you to update the
firmware of your phone to the newer
version conveniently via OTA without
connecting the USB data cable. This
feature is only available if and when LG
makes the newer version of the firmware
available for your device.
First, you can check the software version
on your mobile phone:

Language & keyboard
Select language and customize the input
method and keyboard settings.
Voice input & output
Set Voice recognizer settings and use the
Text-to-Speech settings to configure the
Android text-to-speech synthesiser, for
applications that can take advantage of it.
Accessibility
Use the Accessibility settings to configure
any accessibility plug-ins you have installed
on your phone.
NOTE
Requires additional plug-ins to become
selectable.
Connectivity settings
USB connection mode
- Your phone can
be used as a mass storage device if you
have a memory card inserted. You can set
Mass storage as a default setting for USB
connection mode.
On-Screen Phone
- Tap this icon to use
On-Screen Phone. See On-Screen Phone
on page 90.
Date & time
Set date, time, time zone and date and
time formats.
About phone
View legal information, check phone status
and software versions, and perform the
software update.
