Accessing service menus
Service menus can be accessed during POR to identify problems with the printer. To access them, perform the
following:
1.
POR the printer.
2.
The Lexmark splash screen and progress bar appears. The icons beside the display light up.
3.
Touch and hold until appears.
The printer can be set to always POR into Manufacturing Mode. See “Manufacturing Mode” on page 3-9 .
Configuration Menu
The Configuration Menu group consists of menus, settings and operations that are used to configure a printer
for operation.
To access the Configuration Menu, from the home screen, touch > Configuration Menu .
Available options
7 Setup icon Access the setup menu and change printer settings.
8 Eco-Mode icon Activate Eco-Mode to select the following options:
• Print on both sides of the paper (duplex).
• Change to Sleep mode after the printer is left idle for 10 minutes.
• Set screen brightness to low.
9 Network indicator Check the network connection status of your printer and access the network
settings.

FB Edge Erase See “FB Edge Erase” on page 3-4 .
