NVRAM control section corrupted
Indicates that the control section of
NVRAM is corrupted.
Technical Support Center:
The printer will auto reset.
Service:
The printer will auto reset.
Fax error
General error in receiving or sending
fax.
Technical Support Center:
Make sure that the standard analog
phone line is active and the line jack is
not damaged. If the problem remains,
then replace the printer.
Service:
Replace the fax card. See

Card R/W error
Problem reading or writing the media
card.
Technical Support Center:
Remove and reinsert the media
device. If the problem remains, then
replace the printer.
Service:
Check the USB/Memory card slot
using other media devices. If the
problem remains, then replace the
USB/Memory card slot. See

page 4-41
Print carrier stall
The printer carrier has stalled.
Technical Support Center:
1. Check if the ink cartridges are
properly installed.
2. Clear the jam clearance area from
any obstructions.
3. Unplug the printer from the
electrical outlet, wait for 10
seconds, and then plug the printer
back in.
If the problem remains, then replace
the printer.
