7.3 Connection to mains power
Please refer to the technical data!
Before connecting the instrument to the mains,
please check if the local mains voltage complies
with the power rating on the name plate of the in-
strument.
The setting of the voltage selector is visible in the
small window
(1)
of the voltage selector.
The voltage selector is set to the voltage by
the factory as indicated on the order form. The
name plate reads the power rating of the volt-
age selector setting.
A change in the setting is generally not re-
quired.
Should a change be required, however, the voltage
selector has to be set to the voltage available in your
laboratory. Make sure to use the correct fuses for the
setting (see chapter 4 - 'Technical data').
For changing the setting of the voltage selector, please
refer to chapter 14 - 'Maintenance'.
Connect the mains plug to the power outlet at the
wall.
