6.3 Maintenance overview
Maintenance task
After each
run

Monthly
Right after each run, clean the basket with a cleaning
program (prior to this, melt the paraffin residue in a
provided oven)

Remove the paraffin from the outer surface of the
ASP6025 and wipe the instrument
X
Clean the glass window of the retort
X
Remove the paraffin from the retort lid and the seal, and
clean the retort lid and seal carefully and only with the
paraffin scraper provided to avoid damaging the seal
and/or the PTFE coating on the retort lid.

Clean the retort
X
Clean the level sensors with the cleaning tool
X
Check the filter in the retort and clean it if necessary
X
Check the stirrer and clean it if necessary
X
Clean the touchscreen
X
Check the drip tray
X
Check the condensate bottle and drain it if necessary
X
Stations D (RTU-bottles) and S (system bottles): Level
and visual inspection for deposits, refill/replenish if
necessary
X
Paraffin bath 1 (paraffin)
