This chapter provides information on viewing and annotating eSlides using Aperio ImageScope DX.
Annotate eSlides
Use annotations to mark an area of interest on an eSlide or to measure an object.
You use the Annotation toolbar to select the annotation tool you want to use. To show the Annotation toolbar, go to the
View
menu, select
Toolbars
, and select
Annotation
.
When you use an annotation tool, it stays active until you click another tool to use. After drawing an
annotation, you need to click the
Pan
tool
to move to other areas of the eSlide or to select an
annotation.
Draw Annotations
The following table describes the types of annotations you can draw on an eSlide.

in any shape.
