7.3
RGB Output Connector
The RGB output connector is a Mini D-sub 15-pin connector used to transmit analog
component signals. The connector transmits signals when the output format is component (see
Table 12-3, “List of output connectors”).
The output connector diagram and pin arrangement are given below.

Connect a commercially-sold VGA cable to the RGB output connector, and terminate the other
end of the cable with 75-
Ω
termination. There are various types of VGA cables, such as those
with a Mini D-sub 15-pin connector on either end and those with a Mini D-sub 15-pin connector
on one end and a BNC connector on the other end. Select the appropriate cable for your
needs.
7.4
DVI-I Output Connector
The DVI-I output connector is used to transmit analog and digital component signals. The
connector transmits signals when the output format is component (see Table 12-3, “List of
output connectors”).
The output connector diagram and pin arrangement are given below.
Unless specified otherwise, the descriptions given here also apply to the DVI-I output
connector on an option.
