1. Overview
1-1. Introduction
Th is product is a self-calibrating angular calibration system that can guarantee accuracy by use of multiple
sensors to compensate an installation error.
Th
is product uses dedicated soft ware to output the acquired data. Download this soft ware LS-
ARC
and the
soft ware operating instructions from the Magnescale website.
1-2. Main Features
High angular accuracy and resolution
An original algorithm developed by Magnescale achieves calibration accuracy of ±0.1" (arcsec) around
the entire circumference (360°), and ensures that accuracy at all points at the maximum resolution of
1.9 × 10
‒5 " (arcsec).
Traceability of accuracy
Traceable JCSS calibration is performed with the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and
Technology (AIST).
Flexible installation attitude
Th e non-contact type system reduces the eff ect of installation on accuracy, for easy installation.
Easy installation
Self-calibration reduces the dependence of accuracy on installation and enables easy adjustment.
General-purpose interface
A USB 2.0 output is available, so data can be loaded to and used on a computer.
Handy calibration kit
Th e system can be stored in a dedicated carry case for easy carrying.
