THE ALARM DEVICE DOES NOT WORK
1. Check that the connector of the power supply and alarm cable, identified by a red
colored band, is inserted correctly inside the connector on the equipment, identified
by a red colored label with POWER/ALARM; also check that no oxides or moisture
are present on the contacts.
2. Check that all the components connecting the alarm device to the equipment
are working correclty, making sure that no oxides or moisture is present on the
connection points. It must be remembered that, in areas where food items are
handled, small rodents may be present which may attack the cables even if they are
placed in inaccessible places.
3. Select Test 6 of the Diagnostic Procedure and check that the alarm output and
alarm device are working correclty.
4. Check that the alarm device operates correctly, disconnecting it from the equipment
and connecting it directly to the 12Vdc battery, carefully observing the polarity of the
connection cables (red wire = positive; black wire = negative).
