1.6 - EC GENERAL SAFETY GUIDELINES
This equipment has been tested and meets the requirements of the Standard 89/336/
EEC on the Electro-magnetic Compatibility, and with the requirements of the Standard
90/384/EEC on Non-Automatic Weighing Instruments.
Regarding Standard 89/336/EEC the equipment results in accordance with the limits
imposed for residential and commercial environments along with light industry applications.
This equipment cannot be used for applications included in article 1 par. 2 letter (a) of
Standard 90/384/EEC.
The equipment described in this guide, can present operational anomalies or cause
problems with surrounding or connected equipment, if it isn’t installed and used in strict
accordance with the instructions described below. In any case, there’s no guarantee that
these anomalies won’t appear in a specific installation. If malfunctioning problems should
arise, contact

for advice on strategies for solving problems that may
arise.
In order to respect the Standards, it’s also compulsory to display, in a clear, easily readable
and indelible way, the Maximum Capacity of the instrument indicated in kilograms or
tons, before the equipment is put on the market. Near the connectors there is a label
for identifying the products (see Figure 4). It has been purposely prepared for being
completed with the indication of the true Maximum Capacity of the whole weighing system.
The Maximum Capacity value to be pointed out is the least one among the one of the
equipment, the one of the load cells and the one of the mixer wagon.
The conformity with the Standards is guaranteed only if
the original accessories and spare parts are used. Any
modification or intervention on the equipment that is not
approved in writing by Label could void its conformity to the
Standards and make its use forbidden.
