4.13.11 - PASSWORD
This Function allows a password to be programmed to protect the
equipment from being programmed with accidental and unwanted settings.
At Switching On, if a password is programmed, after the Welcome
Message the flashing [ PSW ] message will appear on the display. To
continue, enter the password. If the password is not known, by pressing
the
OK
key the equipment can be used but with certain limitations.
The available Functions that are available without a password are: No-
Load Tare, Identification Code, Data Transfer, Weight Block, Skip to the
Next Ingredient, Target Weight Restore, Help, Manual Mixing, Usage
by Ingredient, Unloads by Pen, Report Printing, Password, Date, Time,
Supply Voltage Check, Printing, Technical Assistance, Recipe Execution
Activity, Manual Weighing Activity, Weighing with Threshold Activity, Recipe
Programming (select Recipe, select Ingredient/Unload, View the Total
Weight of the Single Animal, View the Recipe Total Weight, View the Total
Animal Number).
1. Select the [
PSW
] Function on the display and confirm by pressing the
OK
key.
2. The [
NO PSW
] message will appear on the display, where NO PSW
indicates that no password has been entered. If however a password
was previously entered 6 asterisks will appear on the display.
3. To program the password (max. 6 alphanumeric characters) use the
Alphanumeric Writing (
2FN
).
4. To delete or change the password, the old password must be entered.
If the password entered in correct, the [
PSW OK
] message will appear
on the display. When the key is released, an empty field will appear in
which the new password must be entered. If you decide not to enter the
password, press the
OK
key to exit and return to the Special Function
Menu. In this case, since the password was not entered, the Password
Function is disabled. If a wrong password is entered the [
WRONG PSW
]
message will appear on the display. After the key is released, the asterisks
will appear again. Enter the correct password repeating the procedure.

If the Password is forgotten, it can be reset by following the procedure
described in Appendix D - Troubleshooting.
