Setting the Character Pitch
You can set the character pitch for fixed fonts such as Courier and Letter
Gothic. If a proportional font is selected, the font size setting will appear
instead of this setting.

Press the MENU key.

Check that Internal is displayed and press the

key.

Press the

key repeatedly until the message display
indicates

Press the
ENTER
key, the message display shows a blinking cursor
(

).

Pressing the
or
key will increase or decrease the value of the
figure where the cursor is blinking. The font size must be set in the
range of 0.44 to 99.99 points, in 0.01-point increments. You can use
the <
or
> key to move the cursor back and forth through the figures
to rapidly set a large number.
If you want to abandon the setting procedure, press the CANCEL
key.

When the desired size is displayed, press the
ENTER
key.

Press the MENU key and the message display returns to
Ready
.
