Option 23 — Drift Check
The
zero
‐
mid
‐
span
drift
check
is
an
automatic
calibration
mode
where
both
4
‐
20
mA
Analog
Output
channels
report
standard
zero,
mid,
and
high
values
for
checking
the
calibration
of
the
device
and
its
data
recording
signal
chain.
To
view
the
Drift
Check
Setup
menu
in
Display
mode:

and

A
prompt
appears
for
showing
that
automatic
drift

for
each
drift
check
test
level
(zero
‐
mid
‐
span)
regarding
the
amplitude
of
the
output
signal
and
its
duration.
The
amplitude
is
given
as
a
percent
of
the
FS
of
the
independent
voltage
source
(3.3V).
In
the
following
example,
10.0%
means
that
0.33V
(10%
of
3.3V)
is
applied
to
the
4
‐
20 mA
output
for
the
drift
check
at
zero.

duration
