Program Mode Advanced Setup
Option 24 — Basic and Advanced Access Codes
The Password option allows you to change the Basic access and Advanced access codes using six
digits.
Note
If you change the default access codes, you should write them down along
with the meter ID. Contact Kurz headquarters if you forget the access code.
To access the Change Password menu in Program mode:

Press P .
2>
Enter the Advanced access code, and then press E .
3>
Press 2 to invoke the Quick Jump option.
4>
Press 24 for the Change Password menu, and then press E .
BASIC SETUP CODE
>123456
The Basic access code prompt appears with the current access code.

To change the Basic access code (six numbers), press C to clear all digits or press D to clear
one digit at a time.

For each digit, enter a number and press E to move to the next digit.
7>
When all six fields have a number or if you want to skip changing the Basic access code
and continue to the Advanced access code, press E .
ADV SETUP CODE
>654321
The Advanced access code prompt appears with the current access code.
8>
To change the Advanced access code (six numbers), press C to clear all digits or press D to
clear one digit at a time.
9>
When all six fields have a number, press E to accept the change and then press H to return
to the main Program mode prompt.
