3.0 Control Panel
The following pages describe how to operate the control for a KSM-Stoker. KSM has made great efforts
to make a control that is easy to operate and is well arranged.
The below picture shows the control panel on which each control button is easily found, references to
these buttons will be made on the following pages.

The control panel consists of 6 press buttons used for programming the stoker. The meaning of each
single button is described below. All information is shown on the display in 10mm large letters that are lit
from behind.
When the stoker is operating, 4 different types of information are shown on the display.
* The plant status – the plant is operating, making a pause, undertemp or starting up.
* Oxygen %: This states the value of the oxygen surplus in the combustion, the oxygen surplus will
vary during operation from 4% up to 16-18%.
High output = low oxygen percentage - low output = high oxygen percentage.
* The actual boiler temperature, is shown constantly.
* The selected programme. The control comprises 3 fix bio fuel programmes and one for the use of
fire wood.
