8.0 Starting Up The Stoker.
This is the simplest way to start up the stoker:
The stoker is ignited by turning START (yellow button on main switch).
An appropriate amount of fuel is conveyed into the burner, by pressing SCREW START.
Turn off the stoker, i.e. press STOP (red button), preferably ignite without the combustion air fan running.
Pour a little ignition liquid (grill igniters) onto the pellets, and set fire.
Once the pellets have caught fire, re-start the stoker (yellow button)
Press STOP SCREW, and let it stay inactivated until the combustion is well established, then press
START SCREW, and the screw feedings are from now on decided by the control impulses.
Always make sure that the circulation pump is switched off when you start the stoker, and do not switch
on the pump again until the control has moved from the starting-up mode and into Step 3. In this way, the
boiler will reach the proper temperature sooner and the control will not de-clunch due to
UNDERTEMP.
