Fitting the Insert Sleeve
(for floor--mounting only)
On free--standing guide rails, carefully fit a pyramid--shaped
sleeve (plastic, part No. 52--2 if included in the scope of supply)
into the guide rail top end with a hammer and push it in until it
does not go any further.
Depending on the type of lifting tackle used, the sleeve may
have to be mounted only after the guide rail has been installed
in vertical position in the tank.
If there is no tight fit between the insert sleeve and the guide rail,
please check whether the correct insert sleeve has been fitted:
Ident. No. 11 306 484 for cross--section 100x100x3 or
ident. No. 11 306 485 for 100x100x5.
The ident. No. is cast into the lower end. If the fit between the
sleeve and the guide rail is still not tight, although the correct
insert sleeve has been fitted, this may be due to the tolerances
of the square rail. After the insert sleeve has been fitted, this
problem can be solved by drilling an M8 hole into the side
pointing away from the propeller and securing the connection
with an M 8 screw.
