7.2 Mounting the Upper Holder (if any)
In case of a greater than standard installation depth and bridges
(and/or cross members or similar), the guide rail can be given
additional support here. If ordered along with the other
installation accessories, the upper holder is included in the
scope of supply.

The upper holder or mounting fixture is fitted to concrete
bridges by means of two anchor bolts (drill dia. 14mm; depth of
bore 110mm), are included in KSB’s scope of supply.
If the bridge is of steel construction, use site--supplied M12
bolts of suitable length (not included in KSB’s scope of supply).
The position of the required holes (diameter: 14mm) at the
bridge should be marked when the guide rail has been placed
into a perfectly vertical installation position.
Smoot raising and lowering of the unit with
pre--assembled guide claw requires that the
guide rail be installed in a perfectly vertical position!
The pictures show design 90 ° on the left; for the designs on the right, 45 ° /60 ° and 75 ° , the outlet incidence angles are set at the
upper holder. For installation insert the holder into the guide rail until the flexible pipe part lies flush. To facilitate installation make
sure the custom--made guide rail pipe has been deburred sufficiently!
