Basic Settings and Operation
Since the cutters are pre-tensioned by
spring force, never press the cutters into
working position manually.
Always use a tool (for example a hammer).
After turning on the cutters, always check
to see whether all the cutters have
swivelled up.
If this is not so:
•
Move the cutter control shaft (A/B) to
the zero position of the cutter (turn
both cutter control shafts (A/B) to
position (-)).
•
Lower the conveyor floor
hydraulically.
•
Clean the conveyor floor thoroughly,
especially the cutter slots.
After cleaning:
•
Set the desired chop length
After the cutter control shafts (A/B) have
been adjusted, the cutters automatically
swivel back up into working position.
If they have not, lightly tap any cutters that
have not already swivelled up with a tool
(for example a hammer) striking the back of
the cutters to move them back to working
position.
•
Raise the floor conveyor.
