11.2 Vent Overload Coupling on
the PTO Shaft
(friction clutch only)
Following extended downtimes, overload coupling
surfaces (2) may stick to the contact surfaces.
Vent the overload coupling before use.
•
Loosen the eight screws (1) to release the spring
pressure from the outside washers (3, 4).
•
Turn the PTO shaft manually.
•
Tighten the screws until the covering ring (2) is lying
directly against the outside washers (3, 4).
Do not tighten the screws (1) too tight.
The coupling must still be able to slip.
•
Then turn the screws (1) one sixth of a revolution
back.
