9.1
Adjustments
9.1.1 Special Safety Instructions
•
The adjustments listed below should be done only when the machine is at a complete
standstill. Switch off the motor, remove the ignition key and disconnect the 12 V supply
voltage.
•
Secure the tractor and round baler against rolling.
•
After completing maintenance work, reattach all protective plates and protective devices
properly.
•
Follow all further safety instructions, to avoid accidents and injuries.
After the setting is made, run the round
baler manually and check whether the
scraper rail (6) comes in contact with the
spiral roller (2).
If the scraper rail is not resting against the
spiral roller, the clamping wedge (5) can be
turned 180°. (The dimensions of the
clamping lever from the oblong hole to the
upper and lower stop edges are different).
The scraper rail (6) is adjusted relative to
the upper spiral roller inside the bale
chamber. Make certain to close the shut-off
tap (1) on the left-hand tailgate hydraulic
cylinder after opening the bale chamber
positon <b>.
9.1.2 Adjusting the Scraper Bar In Relation
to the Upper Spiral Roller
•
Install the scraper bar (7) so it is centred in the oblong
hole of the side part and slightly tighten the screws.
•
Drive the clamping wedge (5) tightly into place and
tighten the screws securely.
•
Move the scraper rail (6) up against the spiral roller (2).
•
Then tighten the hexagonal head screws (3) and
threaded rods.
