Off means that the channel is unused, allowing the OASYS PCI Engine to optimize
the Mixer (for more information, see “Managing Resources” on page 60).
Note that all of the parameters on this page, except for the Program/Audio Input
select, apply only to Programs.
Program/Audio Input
Program: Any Program File.
Audio Input: Analog L, R (mono) and L-R; ADAT 1-8 (mono) and 1-2, 3-4, 5-6, 7-
8 (stereo); S/PDIF L, R (mono) and L-R (stereo).
Stream: 1-8 (mono) and 1-2, 3-4, 5-6, 7-8 (stereo).
This is the same as the input select for the Mixer Channel.
The input may be either a Program, an Audio Input, or a Stream (from a digital
audio program), as selected by the Input Type parameter.
To select an Audio Input or Stream:
1.
Set the Input Type parameter as desired (Audio Input or Stream).
2.
Select the desired Audio Input or Stream from the menu.
Clicking on the menu shows a list of either Audio Inputs or Streams, depending on
the selected Input Type. Audio Inputs and Streams are shown as both mono and
paired stereo.
To select a Program:
1.
Drag a Program from the Catalog onto the Input Select parameter.
or
Select the Input slot and then double-click the name of the Program in the
Catalog.
For more information on selecting Programs, please see “Editing a Patch” on
page 20.
Double-clicking on the Program name brings up the Program Edit page, as
described on page 86.
You can copy Programs from one channel to another using drag-and-drop, or by
using the Edit menu cut, copy, and paste commands.
You can delete a Program from a channel by using the Edit menu cut command, or
by pressing the Delete key.
Coarse Tune
-48 to +48.
This is the coarse tuning, in semitones, for the Program.
Fine Tune
-100 to +100.
This is the
fi
ne tuning, in cents (1/100 of a semitone), for the
Program.
