Key and velocity zones in the Program Edit and Channel Parameters

To edit these parameters from MIDI,
fi
rst select the parameter. Once the parameter
is selected, hold down the Shift key, and then play on your MIDI controller. As
long as the Shift key is held down, the parameter will continue to accept MIDI
input.
The Multisample Edit window also has shortcuts to select the High, Low, and Base
keys; for details, see “Multisample Edit,” beginning on page 99.
Drag-and-drop
To load Programs, Patches, Effects, Multisamples, or Samples, just drag them from
the Catalog window into the desired slot.
(MacOS only: Alternatively, you can select a slot, and then double-click on the
name of the item in the Catalog window.)
You can also use drag-and-drop to copy items between slots. Just click on the
name of the Program, Patch, Effect, Multisample, or Sample that you’d like to
copy, and drag it to the new location.
Delete key
Pressing the Delete key will remove the currently selected Program, Patch, Effect,
Multisample, or Sample from the Multi, Program, Patch, or Multisample.
Bypassing Effects
To bypass a single Effect, click on the slot number to the left of the Effect name.
To bypass all Effects in a Channel, Send, or Output Bus, option-click (MacOS) or
CTRL-click (Windows) on any of the Effects slot numbers.
Clearing clip indicators
To clear a meter’s clip indicators, click on them. To clear
all
clip indicators on the
Mixer, option-click (MacOS) or CTRL-click (Windows) on any clip indicator.
