With the opening tools for cassette still
attached, turn the cassette over so that its
front surface is facing upward .

Push the tray down slightly, and remove
the plate from it .
The plate is secured to its tray by two notches .

Pull the plate out of the cassette .

4 .1 .3 Loading the Plate into the
Cassette
CAUTION
• Only use a plate specially made for this device .
• Make sure your hands are clean before handling the
plate to prevent it from getting dirty . Do not scratch or
bend the plate .
• Use a cassette that matches the plate size .
• Make sure there is no dirt or debris on the plate before
loading it .

Use a flat table that is wider than the cas-
sette when performing this task .
• If the cassette’s tray is closed, go to step 2 .
• If the cassette’s tray is open, go to step 6 . If a
opening tools for cassette is attached to the cas-
sette, make sure to remove it .

Turn the cassette so that its back surface
is facing upward, then place it on the ta -
ble .

Attach the opening tools for cassette to
the cassette .
Setup methods will differ depending on whether or
not cassette lock release levers are present .
