6.2.17 PM TUNE (Performance Monitor Tuning)
The calibration of the performance monitor must be made when the radar set is first
installed, or either the magnetron or the receiver front-end module (MIC, or Microwave
Integrated Circuit) is replaced in the course of repair. Carry out the following
procedure to perform the calibration.
(1) Highlight the figure(s) shown right of the words PM TUNE and press the ENT key
to set the ready to select status.
(2) Press the Joystick to the right or left to make the performance monitor video to
become the largest.
(3) Press the ENT key to fix the tuning for the Performance Monitor.
(4) Highlight the word CALIBRATION shown below right of the PM TUNE sign.
(5) Press the ENT key to complete the calibration. The RX, TX, and SYSTEM
bar graphs will be fully displayed, as a result.

6.2.18 NAV ALIGN MODE (Matching the map with radar screen)
This function is used to move a user defined Navigation Line(s) or map to a desired
position on the screen, in order to overlay these graphics on the radar picture. To do
so, perform the following procedure.
(1) Highlight the OFF sign shown to the right of the prompt NAV ALIGN MODE.
(2) Press the ENT key to set the selection ready status for ON or OFF of NAV ALIGN.
The OFF sigh will blink, accordingly.
(3) Press the Joystick right or left to select the ON status and press the ENT key.
(4) Press the MENU key to exit from CAL MENU.
(5) Press the MAP key twice to show the NAV ALIGN prompt in the bottom right of the
screen.
(6) Press and hold the HL OFF key and press the Joystick right or left, up or down to
move the Navigation Line or map to a desired position.
