6.2.9 MANUAL AGAIN (Manual Gain Preset)
This soft key is used to preset the receiver gain level in manual mode. Before setting
up the level, turn the GAIN control to an appropriate position at which the receiver
gain level needs to be preset. Select a desired level by the Joystick and press the
ENTER key to fix the entry.
6.2.10 AUTO SEA (Auto STC Preset)
This soft key presets the effect of AUTO STC. Once set, the sea clutter echo will be
reduced to a predetermined level, providing constant effect of Anti-Clutter Sea even if
the sea state varies. Select a desired level by the Joystick and press the ENTER key
to fix the entry.
6.2.11 MANUAL SEA (Manual STC Preset)
This soft key is used to preset the anti-clutter sea effect in manual mode. Before
setting up the level, turn the SEA control to an appropriate position at which the
Anti-Clutter SEA needs to be preset. Select a desired level by the Joystick and press
the ENTER key to fix the entry.
6.2.12 HARBOR SEA (Harbor Mode STC Preset)
This soft key is used to preset the anti-clutter sea effect used in a confined area such
as a harbor, waterway, etc. Run your radar in a harbor area for instance, and select
the most suited level by the Joystick and press the ENT key.
6.2.13 AUTO RAIN (Auto FTC Preset)
This soft key presets the effect of AUTO RAIN. Once set, the clutter echo caused by
the rain or snow will be reduced to a predetermined level, providing constant effect of
Anti-Clutter Rain even if the weather condition vary. Select a desired level by the
Joystick and press the ENTER key to fix the entry.
6.2.14 TUNE CAL AUTO (Auto Tune Preset)
This function is used to correct the automatic tuning function in case the tuning has
drifted. Carry out the following procedure for correction.
(1) Open the RADAR menu and select TUNE AUTO.
(2) Point the cursor on the figures next to the AUTO sign below the word TUNE CAL
