Automatic Calibration in Water
The slope is corrected using the saturation value (100 %) related to air
saturation.
During calibration the module is in function check (HOLD) mode.
Current outputs and relay contacts of the module behave as configured
(BASE module).
NOTICE!
Ensure sufficient medium flow to the sensor (see Specifications of dissolved
oxygen sensors)! The calibration medium must be in equilibrium with air.
Oxygen exchange between water and air is very slow. Therefore, it takes a
relatively long time until water is saturated with atmospheric oxygen.
If there is a temperature difference between calibration medium and measured
medium, the sensor must be kept in the respective medium for several minutes
before and after calibration.
