17 Mounting the Earthing Conductor on the VESA Mount
The earthing conductors are pre-installed and must be mounted to the VESA mount.
For the sake of simplicity, the illustration show the VESA mounts without pre-installed cables
or TFT screens.
17.1 Earthing 2D VESA Mounts and 3D VESA Mounts
•
Place the first contact washer D4,1 on
the pan head screw M4 x 8 mm
DIN 7985.
•
Attach the earthing shoe of the earthing
cable and the second contact
washer D4,1 .
•
Screw the pan head screw into the
earthing point of the 2D VESA mount
3D VESA mount .
Make sure the earthing cable is safely in
place:
•
The earthing shoe of the earthing
cable must butt against the 2D VESA
mount
or 3D VESA mount .
•
The contact washers D4,1 / must be
placed in front of and behind the earthing
shoe of the earthing cable .

• Stick an earthing symbol (not illustrated) onto the 2D VESA mount or
3D VESA mount next to the earthing point.
