15.4 Mounting the TFT Screen on the VESA Mount
For the sake of simplicity, the illustration
shows only the VESA mount for large screens
and the mounting rails .
• Hold the TFT screen against the VESA
mount for large screens
at the desired
height (see recommendations in section 10
“Mounting Recommendations for VESA
Brackets”, page 39) and mark the drill
holes on the VESA mounts for large
screens
.

WARNING
Risk of injury from falling TFT screen!
The 4 fastening screws and washers (included in the scope of delivery of the TFT screen
manufacturer) must be adjusted to the TFT screens. If the length of engagement is not
sufficient, the TFT screen can fall down. If the engagement is too deep, the TFT screen can be
damaged and rendered unusable:
•
Make sure the screws engage at least 5 mm deep, even where a deeper thread insert is
used.
• Observe the information by the manufacturer of the TFT screen regarding screw lengths
and tightening torque.
•
Screw 2 VESA mounts for large screens , together with 2 washers and fastening
screws each, onto the TFT screen.
• Tighten the 4 fastening screws according to the instructions provided by the
manufacturer of the TFT screen.
