From the measured differential pressure and the follo-
wing formula, the current air flow can be calculated (for
an air temperature of 20°C).
In case of multi-fan units, the stub is connected to one
of the fans.

4.10 UVC-S lamp
UVC-S lamps are designed to irradiation of the surfaces of
selected structural elements and devices installed inside
the unit
They are used in the cooling and filtration sections to irra-
diate:
• the surface of the lamellas of the coils from the air inlet side
and partly the condensate drip tray,
• filter inlet surface (dirty part).
Micro-suicidal protection is ensured by the use of high-per-
formance radiants producing in the light spectrum, a UVC
wavelength of approximately 254 nm. The radiant lumina-
ires are equipped with reflector-directing reflectors, which
increases their action. Lamp casing provide IP55 protection.
Most bacteria, mold and viruses are deactivated by long-
term UVC rays. The formation of biofilm on their surfaces is
significantly reduced, which shortens the chemical washing
process.
Inspection windows are additionally equipped with a filter
against the ingress of UVC light harmful to the eyes and
skin. Despite the filter used, however, it is not recommen-
ded to observe the space inside the UVC section for a long
time.
4.10.1 UVC-S lamp connection
UVC-S lamps must be electrically connected according to
the scheme. The lamps are powered by a single-phase vol-
tage of 230V / 50 Hz.
4.10.2 UVC-S lamp maintenance
Check the condition of the lamps periodically.
Maintaining cleanliness is important because its bacteri-
cidal effect may not be sufficient to carry out disinfection.
If the UVC lamp fluorescent lamp or the light reflecting lamp
casing becomes dirty, clean it with a clean alcohol-stained
cloth, avoiding touching the glass parts with your hands.
The total operating time of UVC-S lamps is counted by the
automation system. After working the right number of ho-
urs, will appear the information about need to replace the
fluorescent lamps and will display an alarm signal.
UVC light for sterilization is not visible to human vision, so
it is not possible to determine the correctness of its action
by observation.
It is recommended that the replacement of UVC-S fluore-
scent lamps be carried out by an authorized KLIMOR service
center.
All components exposed to irradiation from
UVC lamps must be made of UVC-resistant
materials
